Fitted Stitches Alterations
Hi, I am Summer Strickland, the owner and head seamstress of Fitted Stitches, a full-service bridal and formalwear alterations business. As tailors, we find ourselves "behind the seams" doing anything from perfect-fit alterations to full customizations. If you know anything about sewing or alterations, you know that it is a dying art, so finding the right seamstress for your special event attire can be daunting, and the goal with my alterations business has been to provide a service for customers backed by 20+ years of experience, no matter their body shape or preferences. Our business stands out because we specialize in all things wedding attire and want to provide a beautiful experience to all our customers, helping them create the dress of their dreams for their special day.
Custom Gown Alterations
Every bride has a vision of the perfect dress before they ever come to us and sometimes that dress isn’t quite what they purchased. We specialize in making that come to life through custom additions and styles such as sleeves, straps, custom skirt overlays and many other options. Other services also include heirloom gown reconstruction and veils.
Formal Gown Alterations
Finding the perfect fit for your event can be challenging. This is where we step in to make sure everyone looks their best in dress. Anything from Wedding Party attire, Prom, Black Tie events, or any Special Occasion Dresses.
